AMICI - Tring in partnership with Loreto Aprutino, Abruzzo, ITALY
AMICI is an informal twinning association, recently set up by Tring Together.
Its aim is to create opportunities for the citizens of Tring and Loreto Aprutino in Abruzzo, Italy
to experience and explore each others' lives and culture. Anticipated AMICI activities include
school and family exchanges, cookery, language and art courses, and social events to name
but a few.
Loreto Aprutino is a picturesque medieval hilltop town, which offers luxuriant countryside, historic architecture and breathtaking views. It is renowned for its excellent wines and cuisine and its artistic tradition.

Some of the courses and activities organised by AMICI will be available for all Tring

As part of joint activities between the two towns, officials from Loreto Aprutino visited Tring in November last year. During their stay they enjoyed trips to various local attractions and also attended Tring's Christmas Festival.
AMICI is working with International Friends of Abruzzo, which is a local company involved in a range of activities promoting Loreto Aprutino and the Abuzzo region. It is anticipated that the activities of AMICI and IFA will be linked/complementary and in this way more opportunities will be available to members of AMICI to enjoy and experience Loreto Aprutino.
