Tring Businessmart is a new initiative of Tring Together to
create better business opportunities for
Tring businesses and it organises regular networking meetings. Business breakfasts have taken
place at Pendley Manor Hotel and The Akeman and an evening networking meeting in Tring Learning
Centre, Tring School. Meetings are attended by approx. 40 local business people and the format
typically includes about an hour of structured networking, a presentation by a guest speaker and a
breakfast (or light supper). Networking is a great way of generating new business leads, raising your
companies profile and promoting your services and products; so if you're a local business,

Our networking group aims to enjoy:-
- Getting to know other, like minded, business people in the local area
- Networking with other local businesses with a view to gaining direct referrals and business
- Looking for opportunities to work together and use other local businesses when appropriate
- Creating a supportive group of fellow business people, to talk to and seek advice from
- Learning from each other and external speakers
- Working on business problems together
This year Businessmart will be running a series of new Business Workshops that aim to offer down to earth and practical advice to local business people. These will be held at Tring Learning Centre, Tring School and will cover a whole range of topics, whilst offering a further opportunity to network with other local business people.
