Tring Together Traditional Christmas Festival

Tring Together Christmas Festival 2016
Friday, 25th November from 6.30 until 9.30pm

A festive night to start Christmas in Tring!

The last Friday in November traditionally sees the start of Christmas in Tring. Organised by Tring Together and involving over 100 volunteers, this is the biggest event in the Tring calendar.

Tring’s historic High St and Victoria Hall are transformed into a beautiful Christmas market featuring the best of our local stalls. Amongst them are our local charities and community groups informing about their good causes and latest plans as well as beautiful craft stalls tempting us with their Christmas offerings. More than 40 High St businesses open their doors for late night shopping and a fun fair entertains all age groups in upper High Street. In Victoria Hall Father Christmas awaits all children and live entertainment warms up cold feet on the big stage in Church Square and in cosier surrounding in Dolphin Square. Church Square is where the winner of the Design-A-Light competition is announced at 6:30pm. Warmth and a break from all the hustle and bustle can be found in St Peter and St Paul Church, as well as in the High St Baptist Church and the Akeman Street Baptist Church , so come and say hello.

You can see there are so many things to do and see, so bring along your family and friends and enjoy an evening full of fun and entertainment in Tring!

Take a look at our photo gallery here for a glimpse of the fun, with thanks to Steven Kitchener and Edwin Mitchell-Finch for their support. Also see our Facebook page for further photos.
