The Tring Together Music Partnership (TMP) warmly invites you to The Big Tring Music Thing, an evening showcase celebrating the vibrant musical talent within Tring. Hosted in the Desborough Hall at Tring School, the event promises a spectacular night of entertainment for all ages.

The evening features a diverse programme of performances from the Tring Community Orchestra, Tring Phoenix Brass Band, Tring Phoenix Big Band and the Tring School Swingband plus Alumni.

In addition to the live performances, guests will have the unique opportunity to try out various musical instruments, enjoy a fully stocked bar and participate in a charity raffle. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the Tring Music Partnership’s youth music development programme, securing the future of music education in our community.

An update on our Carnival Saturday Night

We are so sad to hear that our friends at Pepper Foundation have had to cancel their Saturday night event in the marquee due to low ticket sales. They do incredible work, and we know this wasn't an easy decision for them! (Ticket holders, look out for an email from Pepper regarding your refunds).

But the show must go on, and the party isn't stopping at 5pm!

We’re keeping the marquee doors wide open, the legendary Tring Brewery bar flowing, and the summer sounds will be playing into the evening.

Once the main carnival wraps up, don't rush off. Stick around, grab a pint of your favourite local brew, and let’s keep the community vibes going. Admission is free, the atmosphere will be buzzing, and we’d love to see you there!

Tring Together Summer Carnival Day

Get ready for the biggest highlight of the summer! Your local charity Tring Together, in partnership with Tring Brewery, is thrilled to bring you the spectacular Summer Carnival Day – the crown jewel of our four-day community celebration.

The excitement kicks off on the High Street with the iconic High Street Parade. Follow the resounding calls of the Town Crier, marvel at the beautifully decorated floats, and cheer on our local schools as the vibrant procession winds its way through town.

The fun moves to Pound Meadow!

Once the parade wraps up, the party continues on a buzzing Pound Meadow, packed with activities, entertainment, and entertainment for all ages.

Here is a taste of what’s waiting for you:

• Live music & performances: Soak up the summer vibes with live musical acts and a thrilling, high-energy display from local karate performers.

• 70+ vibrant stalls: Explore a massive variety of stalls showcasing local crafts, delicious food, unique gifts and community groups.

• Stunning classic cars: Get up close and personal with a magnificent display of vintage and classic vehicles.

• The Tring Youth Town Council Dog Show: Bring your four-legged friends or come along to watch! Hosted by the Tring Youth Town Council, it’s bound to be a crowd favourite. In the event of extreme heat, the dog show will be postponed until September to ensure the safety and comfort of all our furry participants.

Whether you are coming for the parade, the shopping, the cars, or the dogs, there is something to make everyone smile. Gather the family, invite your neighbours, and let’s celebrate the very best of Tring together!

As part of Tring Together’s Summer Carnival weekend the Rennie Grove Peace Beer and Band Night is back!

Join us and Tring Brewery for local beer, music and dancing. All in the name of raising funds for Rennie Grove Peace. This is a popular event so don’t miss out!

Big Quiz Night with Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo kicks off 2026 Summer Carnival

Big Quiz Night with Rock ‘n’ Roll Bingo brings Tring neighbours, friends and local businesses together for an evening of questions, laughs and light-hearted competition in the Tring Brewery Marquee, Pound Meadow. Every ticket helps us run the community events that keep our town vibrant and connected.

Cheer on Toby for the Herts Hobble!

We are incredibly proud of Toby, one of our amazing trustees, who is taking on the Herts Hobble on Sunday 21 June! This challenging 18-mile circular walk will take him across the beautiful chalk grasslands, fields, and woodlands south-east of Baldock.

It’s no walk in the park, but Toby is doing it all to support our local community. Every penny he raises is being generously donated to Tring Together, helping us continue our work in bringing the town to life.

Refashioned Finds – Tring’s sustainable fashion show

Get ready to rethink your wardrobe as Tring Together hosts Refashioned Finds, an inspiring evening dedicated to the beauty of sustainable style. Taking place on 17 June at St Peter & St Paul Church, this community event proves that the most fashionable clothes are the ones already in existence.

Moving away from the environmental impact of fast fashion, Refashioned Finds celebrates the art of rewearing, reimagining and repurposing. The catwalk will showcase stunning collections from local retailers Maggie J and Loft 68 Vintage, Tring School students and Craft n a Cuppa, highlighting how pre-loved garments can be transformed into modern masterpieces. From clever upcycling projects to timeless retro gems, the show is designed to spark creativity and encourage a more circular approach to fashion.

Each ticket includes a welcome drink plus there will be an onsite bar.

The excitement doesn’t end on the catwalk. At the conclusion of the evening, you will have the exclusive opportunity to shop the collections, purchasing items directly from the participants to kickstart your own sustainable style journey.

Join tutor Steve Kitchen on Sunday 14 June at the next Phoenix Brass Band Workshop and experience being part of a large ensemble playing incredible brass band music!

We welcome all brass instruments and all youth and adult brass band players grade 5+.

Tring Music Partnership Big Band Jazz Workshop

Tring Phoenix Big Band will be hosting an open Big Band Workshop to open the main day of the Wycombe Jazz Festival on Saturday 6th June at the Brunel Engine Shed, High Wycombe (directly opposite the front entrance to the railway station)

A chance to workshop and rehearse some funky contemporary Eastern European Big Band music. Participants will join the mixed youth and adult Phoenix Big Band conducted by Rob Schafer alongside guest soloists Rosie Stano (Flute) and Ralph Wyld (Vibes).

Participants MUST sign up in advance via the button link below. 

You cannot sign up on the day.

Timings 2pm sign in. Workshop runs 2.15 – 3.30pm.

For players age 14-21

Instruments: Saxophones / Trumpets / Trombones / Rhythm Section

Under 18’s need to have a responsible adult with them for the duration of the workshop.

If accepted Participants will get free entry to the festival.

Zebra Jazz Collective opens Wycombe Jazz Festival

Join the Zebra Jazz Collective at 7.30pm on Friday 5 June at The Front Room, High Wycombe for a one‑off Festival Jam kicking off this year’s Wycombe Jazz Festival.

Expect an evening of vibrant jazz, great atmosphere, and an open jam session where musicians can jump in and play with the band!
